Ashe Baptist Association MeetingDate: Saturday, August 22, 2026 Time: 9:00 AM - Location: Mission Home Baptist Church The year 2026 marks a special milestone for the Ashe Baptist Association as we gather for our 140th Annual Meeting. For 140 years, churches across the Blue Ridge Mountains of Ashe County have come together to worship, encourage one another, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ through cooperative ministry. This year’s theme, “Faithful Through the Storm — United for Mission,” reminds us of God’s faithfulness through every season of life and ministry.
Our theme verse comes from 1 Corinthians 15:58 "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.“
These words speak to who we are as an association of churches. Through storms, challenges, and changes, God has continued to guide His people. Whether facing natural disasters, community needs, or the challenges of reaching people with the Gospel, our churches remain steadfast and united in the mission God has given us.
The 2026 Annual Meeting will bring together our 44 churches throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains for a time of worship, fellowship, and encouragement.
The meeting will be held over two days, with Midway Baptist Church hosting on Friday, August 21 beginning at 2:00 and Mission Home Baptist Church hosting on Saturday beginning at 9:00.
The Annual Meeting is always a special time in the life of our association. It is more than a business gathering—it is a family reunion of churches.
We come together to hear powerful sermons, lift our voices in singing, spend time in prayer, receive reports from our churches and ministries, and enjoy meals together around the table.
These moments remind us that we are stronger when we work together for the Kingdom of God.
We will celebrate what God has done through our churches and look forward to what He will do in the days ahead.
Every report shared, every song sung, every prayer offered, and every meal enjoyed together is a reminder that our labor for the Lord is never in vain. Previous Page |
